Malcolm Woolf, AEE's Senior Vice President of Policy and Government Affairs, published an Op-Ed today on EPA's Clean Power Plan: 

FierceEnergy covered the meeting between CPS Energy, the largest municipally owned electric and natural gas utility in the United States, and Advanced Energy Economy Institute, a nonprofit educational affiliate of AEE, to make San Antonio a "Smart City."

FierceEnergy reported on the comments submitted by AEE to the EPA regarding the Clean Power Plan.

"Advanced Energy Economy disagrees with the editorial’s assertion that the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan represents 'a cumbersome and expensive way to slash emissions,'" writes Malcom Woolf, AEE's senior vice president of policy and government affairs, in a  Letter to the Editor in today's Washington Post . "The EPA’s proposal underestimates available technologies that have proved cost-effective in reducing greenhouse gases and fails to take into account the technological progress that will occur by 2030.
