SolarCity revealed plans to expand from California into Nevada. The company already has plans underway to build more than 100 solar projects in partnership with Shea Homes. Power Engineering reports:

According to SolarCity, Nevada has among the greatest amount of direct sunlight of any state in the U.S., but the state’s potential for distributed residential and commercial solar power generation is largely untapped and has tremendous room for growth.
