Power Source from Pittsburgh Post-Gazette covers AEE's Pennsylvania STEER

Power Source, an energy news blog from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, featured AEE's State Tool for Electricity Emissions Reduction (STEER). "How will the Clean Power Plan affect the power sector?" the article asks. AEE's STEER model and Maria Robinson, senior manager for energy policy and analysis, have an answer. 

There are scenarios Pennsylvania could follow without shutting down any more coal plants, said Maria Robinson, senior manager for energy policy and analysis with Advanced Energy Economy, a clean energy advocacy group. Ms. Robinson drew this conclusion from her group’s own model constructed by researchers at the University of Michigan and 5 Lakes Energy, a consulting firm in Lansing, Mich.
