Indiana Advanced Energy Economy has named a new leader. Caryl Auslander, who will be program director for the nationwide business group's efforts in the state, most recently served as the Indiana Chamber of Commerce vice president of education, workforce development and federal affairs.

AEE says the state affiliate's current head, Executive Director Vince Griffin,will help with the transition in a role as a consultant. Indiana AEE has also announced a study that shows some 86,700 employees work in advanced energy in Indiana. It also suggests employers expect a 6 percent rise in jobs in the industry this year…
