Advanced Energy Economy Reacts to California Gov. Brown's State of the State Speech

San Francisco, Jan. 25, 2018 – Today, national business group Advanced Energy Economy released this statement in reaction to Governor Brown's State of the State speech:

“Today, in his final State of the State, Gov. Brown spoke about the need for prudence, perseverance, and resolve. We couldn’t agree more,” said Amisha Rai, Senior Director of California Policy at Advanced Energy Economy. “Now more than ever, California must prepare for the future, and that includes updating the state’s electricity and transportation systems. California leads the nation in deployment of advanced energy resources and technologies, and supports more than half a million jobs statewide as a result. We strongly support the Governor’s ambitious commitment to putting 5 million zero-emission vehicles on the road by 2030 as the next step in growing California’s advanced energy economy for a healthy and prosperous future.”
