Across the nation, fossil fuels are failing to keep the power on during extreme weather events, showing time and again that they are unreliable when we need power the most.
What’s more, power utilities are often times pushing the cost of damages from extreme weather events onto customers, who already pay premiums for highly volatile fossil fuel power. These issues are poised to worsen if fossil fuel-caused problems aren't met with clean energy solutions.
