There are scenarios Pennsylvania could follow without shutting down any more coal plants, said Maria Robinson, senior manager for energy policy and analysis with Advanced Energy Economy, a clean energy advocacy group. Ms. Robinson drew this conclusion from her group’s own model constructed by researchers at the University of Michigan and 5 Lakes Energy, a consulting firm in Lansing, Mich.
