Renewables accounted for 92 percent of new domestic electrical generating in the first quarter of 2014

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Office of Energy Projects reports that renewables made up 92 percent of the 1,150 MW of new domestic electrical generating in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2014. Solar, wind and hydropower provided 84.5 percent of generating capacity in March alone. Read more here.
