Politico Morning Energy released details on AEEI’s white paper to help state officials develop efficient models for Clean Power Plan compliance:
AEE RELEASES TOOL ON CARBON RULE COMPLIANCE: The Advanced Energy Economy Institute will release a white paper and open-access tool on Clean Power Plan compliance that it says mimics the modeling used by utilities to analyze state plans. The State Tool for Electricity Emissions Reduction "allows state officials and other interested parties to identify the lowest cost path to Clean Power Plan compliance under a variety of assumptions,” said Matt Stanberry, AEE's vice president of market development.
