While this podcast is one joint project of the Advanced Energy Economy and the Center for the New Energy Economy, another one was just launched on May 7. The Advanced Energy Legislative Tracker - AELTracker.
AELTracker is a unique and valuable energy policy resource allowing an individual to search for active legislation around the country. The tool allows the user to see the language of legislation, see the actions taken on legislation and different versions of the bill as it goes through the process. Bills are searchable based on a variety of criteria and summary graphs are created to illustrate distribution of legislation around the country as well as within various policy categories.
The database is an essential tool for researchers, businesses, policy makers, media and other interested individuals to find and track important legislative proposals and see the legislation as it changes and moves through the process.
The Center for the New Energy Economy is using the tool to identify trends and do analysis on various policy initiatives around the country.
