The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) includes nearly $370 billion in federal incentives – an historic sum to accelerate the deployment of clean energy, electrify transportation, and make homes and buildings more efficient and less reliant on fossil fuels. Whether it succeeds, however, depends on what happens at the state level. How will Governors and their energy offices, public utility commissions, and legislatures utilize the resources in the IRA? How will this change their economies? And what obstacles to implementation do they foresee? In this webinar, state leaders from across the country share their perspectives on the potential – and the potential pitfalls – of the IRA.
