AEE Recommendations for 2016-2017 Prop 39 Revenues

Now in its fourth year, Proposition 39 of 2012 provides funding for energy improvements in schools and colleges and universities.

For the 2016-17 Fiscal Year, Governor Brown proposed $365.4 million for energy efficiency projects in schools districts and charter schools, and $84 million for community colleges. The California Energy Commission (CEC) still has $7 million available for financing activities. In May 2016, AEE issued recommendations to make the best use of this funding,
